With Roosh, Frost, and others as proper motivation, I’ve started a dating book for men. The working title is:
Dating 2.0: Advice For The Suddenly Single Man
It will cover a lot of Red Pill topics that will be useful to single men who have just divorced or broken up with a long-term girlfriend. I won’t be using much PUA nomenclature but Red Pill readers will immediately see PUA themes and concepts. I’ll be drawing heavily from my own experience and what I’ve researched through blogs and the awfulness of mainstream media dating/relationship advice.
It will be a self-published endeavor (trade paperback format) and available on e-readers, as well. As for the release date, I am hoping by the end of the year. Writing 70,000+ words takes a lot of time. Maybe I’ll throw in some basic graphics.
There will be chapters on meeting women in real life and online. There will also be chapters on inner Game but I won’t be calling it that. Of course I will cover some important concepts of evolutionary psychology as it refers to being attractive to women. As my target audience is mostly guys over 35, I don’t think I will be stepping on any of the younger writers’ toes.
I’ll drop in excerpts on my blog as a nice teaser to ramp up enthusiasm and potential sales.
The introduction is mostly complete and the outline has been established. The only dilemma I have is whether to publish under my real name or an appropriate pseudonym. I shall consult my Manosphere friends on that one.
Having something in print will do much for overall credibility when I start seriously with the Red Pill Dating classes.
There is also time for any of my blog readers to offer up suggestions on topics to cover.
Stay tuned for updates.

/ October 7, 2011Go with your real name I say. Take your approach out of the shadows and let the sun shine! Don’t you want a Katie Curic interview? By staying sub rosa, the manosphere can come across like a secret club for bad boys. Why? Go national. Make a big fuss. Let the world in for discussion. Time to graduate to the mainstream.

/ October 7, 2011It’s a good idea to publish under your own name, but be prepared for some fall out. Many bloggers who write about social issues get some of the most batshit crazy opponents . By outing yourself on your own terms, you keep the power in your own hands. Best of luck.

/ October 7, 2011If he’s outed, he will never have another date again (after he is googled). I dont think he wants to be a celibate martyr for the cause, as great as it is.

/ October 7, 2011If he can maintain unshakable confidence, he’ll date. That’s why it’s important that he maintains control of the outing.

/ October 7, 2011Funny you should mention the classes…
I am currently in discussion with a female friend who owns a seriously chick-oriented restaurant. She loves the idea of me doing a class for single WOMEN! First class is a lunch event tentatively scheduled for for October 23. It’s going to be called: Meeting, Dating, and Understanding Men.
I’ll blog about it, of course.

/ October 9, 2011Congrats. Having worked in publishing for many years, I think your easy writing style and insights will make this quite successful.
Kindle is pretty easy to do, but you might want to consider investing in an epub version for other devices, such as the iPad store (though they do take PDFs).
Good luck.

/ October 9, 2011Thanks!
I will definitely be doing some sort of ePub version, just not PDF.
I believe that men are not big self-help book consumers so whatever self-help must be put in the context of being more attractive to women. However, the big irony is that when the self-help is done for selfish reasons, that’s the most attractive thing to women. This is going to be a tricky challenge.
