Because of some job and health issues, I was not actively pursuing online dating for the past two months. As it appears that the job and health issues have been mostly (righteous scar still healing) resolved, it’s time to start logging back in to Plenty of Fish and Match to get me some dates.
My basic process will not change. I will, however, make some minor adjustments:
1. No more public “favoriting”. If I see a profile I like, I will simply send a message immediately or save the profile name to a text file for to send a message later.
2. Simplified searches. Rather than cast one broad net, I will use tighter searches to cast several smaller nets. This yields more manageable numbers and allows for better organization.
3. Working the “My Matches” list more aggressively. As the eternal optimist, I will place my faith in Plenty of Fish and Match to see if they can actually match me with appropriate women.
4. More aggressive use of the block feature. With so many profiles, blocking profiles winnows out the passive rejections and allows me to be more efficient. I will stick to my rule – if no response to a message within a week, blockage results.
5. Limiting my time online. I will log in only once a day and then only for the maximum of an hour. I strongly suspect that being online more often sends a message of desperation.
6. Frequent minor tweeks to my profile. This should put me at the top of searches, just like in the job listing websites.
7. More online and text Game. For example, if I receive a response to an outgoing message in 24 hours, I will wait 48 hours to send my own response. The same goes for texting and phone calls.
8. When I do score a date, I will talk less be more assertive physically. This won’t be a seduction play. Rather, it will be a tactic to more clearly show my interest while maintaining more mystery. While I won’t be aloof on first dates, I won’t be so garralous.
Additionally, I will be practicing more day/night Game in the village where I live. I won’t be doing this to get dates (too incestuous in the village), but simply to gain more Game experience and the confidence that goes along with it.
I will make an honest effort to document my efforts in greater detail so my blog becomes more timely and compelling.

“Gentleman with an ‘edge’” Hmmm, she still wants the BadBoys. Perhaps her beta provider ex-husband motivated her to chase the divorce fantasy? Dalrock, please pick up the white courtesy phone.
“…keeps himself physically fit.” Really? No, REALLY!?!?

Literally had 3 good conversations on there in 2 months.
As for OKCupid, much smaller numbers. But profiles are better, and thus my online Game can be used to full effect. In 5 months, I got a STR (she went back to America 2 weeks ago, a shame, she was actually great), a fuckbuddy (crazy and far away, but a total slut, best bj I’ve ever had), and currently got one girl wrapped around my finger who has explicitly told me she’s coming to my uni next week to fuck, plus 3 or 4 other HB8+s who I reckon I can get at least one to fuck me within the month.
Online Game is about being different. Make the message personal, pick up on something that isn’t the main part of their profile (but didn’t require stalking), suit the message with a neg to their rating, bob’s your uncle. Rapport needs to be built fast: talk about emotions. Once set up, then sexual talk begins – make or break. If they stay, you win. If they run, you just cut your losses.
As for your message PM, she doesn’t look awful at 50. Sunglasses may be hiding something though…
And yes, she’s been fucked by the whole of the local Motorcycle Club. She needs good Asshole Game with a touch of Vulnerability to win her over if are going to reply.
As for running IRL game, good shout. Both needs to be done. I’ve neglected nightgame, which makes going out a vicious circle. Both are needed to be an all-round success.
